Gundagai Shire Council has resolved to prepare a Planning Proposal to amend the Gundagai Local Environmental Plan 2011 to:
(i) amend the land use table of the RU1 Primary Production Zone to permit the activity of a “Function Centre” and
(ii) introduce an enabling clause to allow Council to consider the subdivision of land for dwelling houses in the R1 General Residential Zone in Gundagai township to a minimum of 450 sqm where an applicant can demonstrate the proposal can be connected to the Council’s reticulated sewer.
A copy of the Planning Proposal
may be inspected at Council’s office 225 Sheridan Street, Gundagai during
office hours 8.30 am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday, or viewed by clicking on the link below.
Any person may make a written
submission on the Planning Proposal up until 5.00pm Friday 2 October 2015.
Submissions should be addressed to the General Manager at the above address. The Minister has delegated the
plan making functions to the Council in regard to this matter.
